Description
We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant (M/F/D) for a company in the North Vaud region specialised in the manufacture of synthetic material parts.
Responsibilities
You will join the laboratory workshop to carry out the following tasks:
Main tasks:
- Management of two testing laboratories
- Daily quality control on production lines
- Testing of finished products
- Testing of raw material inputs
- Monitoring of all measuring and calibration tools
- Maintenance and follow-up of maintenance on various laboratory installations
- Contact with various control and certification institutes
- Collaboration with the quality manager
Profile
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma in mechanics, plastics, quality control or equivalent with several years of experience in these fields
- Good knowledge in metrology
- Good skills in using common IT tools (MS Office)
- Ability to work precisely and independently
- Sense of order and organisation
- Knowledge of German and/or English is a real asset
