We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant (M/F/D) for a company in the North Vaud region specialised in the manufacture of synthetic material parts.

Responsibilities

You will join the laboratory workshop to carry out the following tasks:

Main tasks:

• Management of two testing laboratories
• Daily quality control on production lines
• Testing of finished products
• Testing of raw material inputs
• Monitoring of all measuring and calibration tools
• Maintenance and follow-up of maintenance on various laboratory installations
• Contact with various control and certification institutes
• Collaboration with the quality manager

Profile

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma in mechanics, plastics, quality control or equivalent with several years of experience in these fields
• Good knowledge in metrology
• Good skills in using common IT tools (MS Office)
• Ability to work precisely and independently
• Sense of order and organisation
• Knowledge of German and/or English is a real asset
