Do you want to help shape major technical projects, strategically develop production sites and drive sustainable solutions together with your team? Then a responsible leadership role in an industrial environment awaits you with us.
What you will achieve
- You take on the strategic and technical management of engineering at our production sites in Eastern Switzerland
- You lead, coach and develop a team of project managers both professionally and personally
- You manage demanding investment and CAPEX projects such as conversions, expansions and new builds
- You coordinate technical projects in the areas of production facilities, building infrastructure, energy and maintenance technology
- You are responsible for budget planning, project controlling as well as profitability and risk analyses
- You ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations and technical compliance
- You advise plant managers and clients on complex technical issues and investment decisions
- You work closely with internal departments, suppliers, authorities and external partners
- You promote innovations, process optimisations and sustainable technical solutions at the sites
- You are part of the Engineering Switzerland management team and actively contribute to the further development of the infrastructure
What you bring
- Education: Completed degree (University/ETH, FH, HF)
- Field: Engineering sciences, construction sciences or a comparable technical field
- Professional experience: Several years of leadership experience in an industrial production environment
- You have experience with complex production facilities, building infrastructure or technical investment projects as well as in maintenance technology
- You are familiar with project management, contract management and profitability calculations
- You think strategically, act solution-oriented and keep an overview even in demanding situations
- You convince with communication skills, assertiveness and negotiation skills
- You enjoy working in matrix organisations and move confidently between technology, management and production
- You are willing to travel within Switzerland
