For over 20 years, we have held LSE mandates with the State of Valais in various IT fields. For one of these mandates, we are looking to strengthen our team.
Junior and Senior System / Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Start date: immediately or to be agreed
Your responsibilities:
Design and development of the infrastructure
- Design, develop and maintain system infrastructure architecture concepts
- Define and maintain principles of high availability, security and continuity
- Establish usage rules and concepts for infrastructure management tools
- Contribute to the evolution of business solutions
- Plan and manage installations, migrations and updates of systems and operating tools
Operation and supervision
- Ensure the operation, supervision and regular control of infrastructure systems
- Maintain the network, hardware, software and associated inventory
- Administer and configure system management tools
- Monitor the proper execution of backups and guarantee system availability
Security and compliance
- Develop, apply and maintain security policies and concepts for systems and management tools
- Implement measures ensuring data confidentiality and integrity
- Maintain the usage charter for systems and management tools
Support and documentation
- Participate in N2/N3 support and incident handling
- Advise and support application developers hosted on the infrastructure
- Write and maintain technical documentation, procedures and user documentation
Your profile:
- Federal diploma in computer engineering or equivalent training
- Fluency in French or German, with good knowledge of the second language
Experience:
- For the Junior position: at least 1 year of experience in IT infrastructure management and system security
- For the Senior position: at least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and system security, with good autonomy and the ability to lead infrastructure and security projects
Expected skills:
- Active Directory and access rights management
- Administration of Windows and Linux servers
- Good documentation skills (procedures, technical documentation)
- Networks: switching, routing, VLAN, Wi-Fi, security (Cisco/Aruba)
- Virtualisation & backup: VMware vSphere and Veeam Backup & Replication
- ITSM tools: ServiceNow or equivalent
Mandatory conditions:
- Swiss nationality or B/C permit
- Residence in Valais
