Social Assistant
General mission of the Common Unit
The Common Units ORP-CSR offer beneficiaries of the Integration Income (RI) innovative support combining, within the same structure at the Regional Employment Offices (ORP), professional follow-up and social follow-up, provided respectively by personnel advisers and social assistants. The combination of these two professions allows RI beneficiaries to access a wide range of tools and skills. The objective is to reintegrate RI beneficiaries quickly and sustainably into the labour market to achieve financial and social autonomy through employment.
Main activities
- Establish socio-professional assessments, action plans and implement professional projects
- Seek interactions and promote a collective working approach
- Intervene in other aspects of socio-professional integration such as household budget management, guidance in case of family or marital difficulties, guidance in case of health issues, advice in finding accommodation
- Participate in network meetings
- Collaborate closely with ORP advisers to define a professional reintegration project
- Participate in the management of RI files, in collaboration with administrative managers
Desired profile
- Holder of a diploma from a recognised social school of the HES type (social work stream or another stream with possible specific additional training) or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in the social field
- Knowledge of social institutions and mastery of current standards regarding the granting of financial benefits and socio-professional measures
- Ability to develop synergies and collaborate with different services
- Proficiency in common IT tools
With a strong interest in public service and supporting vulnerable people as well as an ethic of the helping relationship, you are also recognised for your flexibility and pragmatism. You also have an open mind and good analytical and synthesis skills.
