FER CIAM is looking for a Family Allowance Manager – Digital Transformation Business Referent to strengthen its family allowance service.

FER CIAM is the interprofessional AVS fund of the Federation of Romand Enterprises, FER Geneva. It is part of a range of services offered to member companies of FER Geneva. It also participates, among other tasks, in the administration of the family allowance funds of the Federation of Romand Enterprises Geneva and in the application of collective labour agreements.

Your role at the heart of our mission

You support our beneficiaries with kindness and professionalism. You manage your files independently, relying on the current legal and regulatory frameworks, and actively contribute to a quality service, in a spirit of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities

File management

  • Processing, calculation and decision-making on family allowance claims
  • Management of family allowance benefits in accordance with federal, cantonal legislation and applicable European regulations
  • Issuing recovery decisions for unduly paid benefits

Digital transformation business referent

  • Participate in the drafting of user documentation
  • Train and support colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of procedures, specifications and tests
  • Be the business contact point post-production and for the deployment of successive versions

Client and partner relations

  • Attentive support of beneficiaries, in coordination with public and private partner institutions
  • Active collaboration with other FER CIAM services
  • Professional telephone reception according to FER Geneva quality standards

Administrative work

  • Drafting routine correspondence in compliance with legal obligations

Your profile

Education and experience

  • Commercial employee CFC or equivalent recognised training
  • Solid experience in file analysis and management
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss social insurances

Technical skills

  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of German (level B2 in August)
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Marked interest in IT tools and application environments
  • Experience and/or interest in testing and deployment phases of IT tools

Personal skills

  • Dynamism, rigour, responsiveness and flexibility in the service of an open mind
  • Excellent sense of service and human contact, with real listening skills and confirmed ease in conducting telephone interviews
  • Effective priority management and adaptability to a variable workload
  • Autonomy, rigour and team spirit
  • Ability to position oneself as a constructive interface between business and IT
  • Ease in negotiating priorities and deadlines

Administrative prerequisites

  • Valid work authorisation in Switzerland required
