Within the framework of a development project linked to our range of 3D measuring instruments, you will join an innovative project with a particular focus on CMMs. The Embedded Systems Engineer will contribute directly to the development of the next generation of high-precision measurement solutions. We are looking to complete our R&D team, based in Renens:Embedded Systems Engineer - 12-month fixed-term contractResponsibilities:- Firmware development on microcontrollers in C (STM32)- System development with WIFI/BLE low power- Control of physical components: motors, optical systems, pumps, sensors- Industrial software development under Windows in Python/C++/C#Required Skills:- Solid experience in firmware on microcontrollers (ARM, STM32)- Solid experience with real-time systems (FreeRTOS or others)- Mastery of communication protocols:- Wired: UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB- Wireless: WIFI, BLE- Experience in electronics: development, design, and troubleshooting- Experience in object-oriented programming: Python, C++, C#- Knowledge of robotics (trajectory)- Knowledge of machine learning- Experience with debugging and analysis tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)- Mastery of version control tools (Git)Profile sought:- Bachelor or Master in engineering- Ideal experience: 3-5 years- Good level of technical English (written and spoken)- Analytical mind and aptitude for solving complex problems- Autonomy, rigor, and sense of responsibility- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different disciplines (electronics, mechanics, software)Start date: Immediately or to be agreed uponWe offer you the opportunity to join a dynamic, growing company on a human scale that prioritizes technical excellence and fosters personal development.
