In this key role, you will take on the strategic and operational overall responsibility for our alarm centre at the Zurich location as
Head of Alarm Centre (80%-100%)
YOUR MISSION WITH US
- You lead the alarm centre (approx. 40 people in shift operation) and develop your department strategically and operationally
- You ensure a stable, efficient, and high-quality 24/7 operation and are responsible for compliance with all regulatory and security-relevant quality standards
- You derive clear goals and measures for your department from the corporate strategy and implement them effectively
- You are responsible for the continuous optimisation of processes, interfaces, and workflows (especially in interaction with the monitoring service, customer service, and sales) and lead cross-departmental projects
- You analyse key figures (KPIs) and derive targeted measures to improve performance
- You actively drive the digitalisation and further development of the alarm centre (systems, work equipment, automation)
- You ensure a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction in critical situations
- You are the central contact person for internal and external stakeholders and a sparring partner for the management in strategic decisions in alarm management
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have completed tertiary education (FH/University, at least Bachelor) in electrical engineering, business administration, security management, or a comparable field
- You have several years of leadership experience in an operational 24/7 environment (ideally in a control centre, alarm centre, or a comparable environment)
- You have native-level German skills and French at least at B2 level
- You work in a structured manner, keep an overview even in critical situations, and make clear decisions
- You have a pronounced quality and safety awareness
- You are proficient in handling KPIs and use them purposefully to manage and further develop your area
- You are a assertive, resilient, and communicative leadership personality
- You approach topics pragmatically and implement changes consistently and sustainably
