Context:

Infomaniak develops kDrive, a sovereign storage and collaboration solution, fully hosted within our own Swiss data centres. We design an interconnected ecosystem with our productivity tools (Mail, kChat, kMeet), placing quality, reliability and user experience at the heart of every technical iteration.

Your responsibilities:

• Architecture & Design: Participate in the evolution of the backend to support the massive growth and scalability challenges of the kDrive product.

• Development of critical features: Design and implement complex features (sharing, rights management, file versioning) ensuring optimal performance.

• Quality and industrialisation: Ensure product stability and maintainability through test automation and strong involvement in code reviews.

• Reliability and security: Guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of user data by applying best security practices (encryption, API hardening, etc.)

Profile sought:

• PHP / Laravel expertise: You have solid experience in modern PHP (version 8+) and master complex architecture patterns. Ideally through the use of the Laravel framework.

• Mastery of APIs & Microservices: Ability to design robust, performant and documented APIs for a multi-platform ecosystem (web, desktop, mobile).

• Performance culture: Excellent knowledge of databases (MySQL) and caching mechanisms (Redis) to handle large volumes of data.

A plus if you have knowledge in:

• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes, GitLab CI is a plus.

• Experience with distributed storage technologies (S3, Ceph) or handling complex file systems.

• Open source contributions or side projects are appreciated.

• Knowledge of WebDAV is a plus.

• You enjoy working in a team and demonstrate positive communication.
