Pastry Assistant
Your mission :
-
Familiarise yourself with events by consulting function sheets (banquet, cocktail, special menus).
- Inventory planning follow-up.
- Control and organise the cold room.
- Ensure cleanliness of the workstation and its tidiness.
- Respect cleaning schedules for cold rooms and other areas referenced by HACCP requirements.
- Maintain exemplary cleanliness: jacket, apron, hair, hands, nails, beard.
- Ensure safety (e.g. wearing safety shoes), define and apply the safe use of equipment. Be aware of work risks (slips, falls, burns, electrical or chemical hazards, cuts), apply and enforce instructions, report anomalies.
- Report missing or nearly depleted products, note them as they occur.
- Determine the number of portions available for service, propose replacements.
- Inquire about the day’s setups (number, quantity, volume), refer to basic recipes.
- Actively participate in production, ensure rotation of products and stocks.
- Note setups for upcoming services.
- Participate in the order list.
- Leave precise instructions for on-duty staff or those resuming shifts.
- Taste, have others taste, check, adjust, and validate productions.
- Receive goods, verify quantities and quality.
Your profile and skills :
- Graduate of a hotel school or apprenticeship in pastry.
- Experience in hospitality/restaurant industry.
- Knowledge of dietetic cooking.
- Rigorous, organised, and professional conscience.
- Good communication skills and a genuine sense of human relations.
- Team spirit and discretion.
- Available on weekends, flexible with working hours.
- Good knowledge of hygiene rules.
- Diplomacy.
