The Medical-Social Centres have the mission to help people of all ages who are dependent or affected in their health to remain in their living environment for as long as possible and to support informal carers. ASPMAD, with its 9 MSCs and 950 employees, annually cares for 6,700 clients at home and serves 105 municipalities in the northern Vaud region.
For our MSCs in Yverdon, we are looking for a student who has completed their first year of a HES degree in nursing or medicine.
Nursing or Medical Students
Your duties
As a nursing student, your role involves a certain mastery of skills:
- Care and household management skills: Independently provide basic care services, household management, and delegated cleaning assistance as assigned by the organisation.
- Administrative management: Handle the administrative tasks inherent to the position, ensuring necessary documentation and follow-up.
- Team contribution: Actively participate in the smooth running of the service, supporting team initiatives and collaborating closely with colleagues to improve processes.
Your profile
- Student in training: Bachelor in nursing, occupational therapy or medicine with at least one year of experience in basic care, or having two years of ASSC training.
- Strong interest in home care and ability to work responsibly and autonomously.
- Availability required in the evenings, during school holidays and/or weekends
- Holder of a driving licence and possessing a personal vehicle.
