Junior Field Assistant - Civil Engineering - ASAP 6 months
About the role
Working in pairs on site, you assist the surveyor-draughtsman in capturing precise data. You play a key role in documenting underground infrastructures by combining technical rigour and team spirit.
We offer you We offer a 6-month full-time contract with a comprehensive two-week training upon your arrival, within an organisation that values proactivity and good communication.
Tasks
- Assist the draughtsman in taking measurements of excavations
- Handle and set up surveying equipment (tripods, prisms, rods)
- Carry out ground markings and simple field sketches
- Enter technical data (valves, network points, etc.) on a field tablet
- It is sometimes necessary to descend into excavations (up to 8 metres) to ensure the accuracy of the surveys
We are looking for
- Initial training in civil engineering, CFC surveyor or measurement technician
- Ability to quickly learn to distinguish different types of pipes and conduits
- Good command of French
An advantage if you have
- Higher education in Civil Engineering
- Possession of a driving licence
- First successful experience in fieldwork or data capture
