On behalf of a recognised player in community catering in the canton of Jura, we are recruiting a

for this dynamic establishment offering a wide scope of action.

This Head Chef position is aimed at a professional capable of ensuring quality, organisation and rigour on a daily basis. They will be a key player in team coordination and production. The establishment values teamwork, collaboration and culinary excellence. They manage a team of around five kitchen staff with a volume of 150 menus per day. These meals are served on site or transported to other locations. The Head Chef plans and implements the entire production, supervises the production of sandwiches, salad buffets and catering services. As the hygiene, quality and maintenance referent, they also manage orders and inventories. The hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with some exceptional evening interventions.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in community catering AND high-end hospitality, with recognised and structured management skills. The Head Chef will propose the menus to be produced, manage the team daily and report to the restaurant manager. A global vision of the activity, organisational skills and a team spirit are essential. Autonomy and reliability are indispensable qualities for this position.
