About the role

Our client, a major player in the development of innovative medical technologies related to sleep, is looking for a student or electronics technician to support the Manufacturing team. This is a 20% role, lasting 6 months.

As a Hardware/Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s technical and R&D operations. You will be responsible for assembling components, conducting technical tests, and monitoring the performance of prototypes as part of the development of the company’s flagship product.

Tasks

  • Perform precision soldering on electronic boards
  • Use a multimeter to measure and check electronic circuits
  • Assemble, disassemble and repair device prototypes
  • Conduct technical tests and stress tests on components
  • Identify faults and carry out hardware debugging
  • Prepare technical documentation related to the tests performed
  • Suggest improvements for hardware design and component selection

We are looking for

  • Training in electrical or electronic engineering, technician (EPFL/HES student or recent graduate)
  • Essential mastery of precision soldering on electronic boards
  • Skills in reading electronic schematics and using a multimeter
  • Fluency in French

An advantage if you have

  • Good knowledge of technical English for documentation
  • Personal or academic experience in robotics, modelling or hardware projects
