Your mission:

For one of our clients, a renowned watchmaking manufacturer in Geneva, we are seeking a Delegated Buyer (M/F) for a temporary 5-month assignment starting early August.

Your tasks:

- Work as part of a team with the Buyer to manage supplier relationships.
- Provide operational support in applying purchasing conditions.
- Ensure the quality of purchasing master data in line with the purchasing strategies defined in the various information systems used.
- Manage tenders in support of the buyer.
- Process and follow up purchase orders with suppliers and internal clients.
- Monitor delivery deadlines for all orders placed, in collaboration with suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to follow up on operational actions.
- Contribute to the service’s performance (monitoring indicators) and continuous improvement of purchasing processes to increase operational efficiency.
- Participate in various processes, purchasing roadmaps, and cross-functional projects (digitalisation, sustainability, compliance...)

Your profile:

- Commercial training or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of successful experience in a similar role - MANDATORY.
- Native French speaker with good knowledge of English.
- Proficient in common office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent communication and client orientation.
- Organised and precise individual.
- Good team spirit.
- Efficient and able to work independently.
