Neuchâtel Public Transport Ltd (transN) originates from the successive mergers of companies in the canton of Neuchâtel. Specialising in the operation of a network of rail and road public transport, both urban and regional, we carry 27.5 million passengers per year on 38 lines and 293 km of network.

To complete our workforce, we are looking for a:



Allocation Manager



Your mission:


Ensure the provision of sufficient operational staff to meet the services ordered by clients and customers while complying with legal requirements (LDT / OLDT and the company CBA)


Your main responsibilities:


- Ensure the provision of sufficient operational staff according to the services:


o Prepare the annual schedules of production employees subject to the LDT

o Prepare the monthly schedules of production employees subject to the LDT

o Ensure the replacement of unexpected absences

o Guardian of the point-based holiday system for operational and regulatory staff

o Anticipate staffing needs and alert the planning manager to any shortages (permits, understaffing by service location, etc.)


- Statistical monitoring:

o Absenteeism

o Management of balances (holidays, hours, RR-)

o Monthly allowances

o Others according to the service KPIs


- Assistance tasks for the planning service:


o Participate in the development of duty rosters and provide advisory opinions


- Various and occasional tasks:


o Passenger information, regulation during major events

o Representative of allocation in specific working groups


Your profile:


- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (ability to manage large volumes of data on Excel and identify essential data)

- Excellent knowledge of the LDT and OLDT

- Knowledge of a planning software is a plus
