40% Student Position in Archive Digitisation
About the Role
As part of a project involving several public departments, a large-scale operation to digitise paper archives is underway. The objective: to reduce the physical volume of documents, facilitate their access and preservation. For this, we are looking for a motivated, organised and autonomous student to join the team responsible for this mission at a 40% rate. You will have the opportunity to organise your schedule as you wish according to your class hours.

Tasks
- Sort paper archives according to preservation guidelines
- Inventory documents in a dedicated Microsoft Excel file
- Identify files to be digitised or destroyed according to a listing
- Digitise paper archives (thousands of files and binders)
- Organise and name digital files uniformly
- Group and classify digital documents in the online system
- Manage the secure disposal of documents intended for destruction
We are looking for
- A student currently studying
- Available at 40%, i.e. 2 days per week (or half days)
- Ability to work in an orderly and rigorous manner
- Demonstrates an energetic approach to repetitive tasks
- Good interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with IT tools
