About the role

As a claims handler, you will manage the complete follow-up of files, from opening to compensation. You will work closely with clients to ensure effective and proactive handling within a team of six people.

Tasks

This position involves managing the entire claims handling process, combining administrative rigour, contractual analysis and client relationship skills.

  • Receive incoming requests and open claims files.
  • Identify missing information or documents and ensure file management follow-up.
  • Contact the client by email and phone to complete the file.
  • Compare the claim elements with insurance conditions to verify coverage.
  • Analyse supporting documents and decide whether to compensate.
  • Ensure proper administrative management and rigorous file follow-up.

We are looking for

  • Basic practical knowledge in administrative or commercial management.
  • Proficiency in common IT tools (Office Suite).
  • Fluent French.
  • Working professional knowledge of German.

An advantage if you have

  • Basic knowledge in the insurance field is a plus.
