For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior FX Operations professional on a permanent full-time contract based in Geneva. The successful candidate will join the FX Operations team and be responsible for various tasks.



FX Operations Senior FR / ENG (m / f)


Our client is a well-established financial services firm in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Integration within the company’s FX Operations department;
  • Execute and supervise foreign exchange operations (spot, forward);
  • Implement hedging strategies;
  • Ensure current accounts are never overdrawn (swaps);
  • Monitor foreign exchange orders for private and corporate clients;
  • Verify the accuracy of transaction-related information;
  • Follow up on operations until their complete finalisation;
  • Validate and release SEPA and international payments;
  • Ensure compliance with position limits;
  • Apply the pricing grid and ensure margin consistency;
  • Maintain client contact during onboarding if necessary;
  • Keep regular follow-up with clients, especially less active ones;
  • Provide responsive, clear and professional client support;
  • Develop a detailed understanding of activities, flows and client needs;
  • Identify foreign exchange opportunities linked to market fluctuations;
  • Guide clients towards suitable solutions;
  • Apply internal compliance procedures;
  • Perform first-level controls (onboarding, operations, beneficiaries);
  • Ensure quality, completeness and traceability of documentation;
  • Exercise vigilance over sensitive operations;
  • Escalate any anomalies or unusual situations to the Compliance Officer with a structured file;
  • Report to Management;
  • Participate in the daily life of the office.

Candidate Profile

  • Education in Finance, Economics or Management;
  • Significant experience in foreign exchange (FX) operations;
  • Good understanding of market mechanisms, flows and foreign exchange products;
  • Ability to manage operational, economic and compliance matters;
  • Rigour, attention to detail and analytical skills;
  • Organisational and prioritisation skills;
  • Team spirit and sense of responsibility;
  • Customer service orientation;
  • Autonomy and versatility.
