As Finance & Controlling Manager, you are a member of the executive committee. You ensure the reliability of financial data, the consolidated group vision, and analyses for strategic decisions. You establish the group’s financial governance, manage performance, and support daily operations. You also contribute to the modernisation of processes and tools.



Finance & Controlling Manager (M/F)


Our client is a Swiss human-sized group in a phase of growth and structuring. Active in a niche market, the group has several international subsidiaries and aims to double its turnover over the next 5 years.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO and leading a small team, your main responsibilities are as follows:

· Management and development of the accounting team.

· Producing financial statements and preparing periodic reports.

· Managing and optimising cash flow (cash-flow forecast, risk hedging, banking relations…).

· Handling tax issues and transfer pricing.

· Leading the annual budgeting and long-term planning process, and ensuring its follow-up.

· Implementing relevant management control and proposing corrective actions.

· Designing and maintaining operational and strategic dashboards.

· Providing data and models to simulate new business models.

· Developing tools necessary for KPI monitoring.

· Establishing and maintaining financial governance adapted to the group’s needs and development (internal control system, processes, standards, reporting).

· Optimising departmental processes and driving continuous improvement.

· Contributing to the evolution of the information system and ensuring data integrity,

· Identifying, experimenting with, and deploying AI use cases (analysis, automation, reporting) within the department to improve data quality, process efficiency, and decision support.

Candidate Profile

· Higher education in finance / accounting / controlling, federal diploma as finance & controlling expert or equivalent qualification.

· At least 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role within multi-entity environments.

· Excellent knowledge of Swiss accounting and taxation.

· Comfortable with cash management, banking relations, and foreign exchange risk management.

· Previous experience in margin management and controlling in an industrial environment is a real advantage.

· A high-potential profile who will continue to grow alongside the group.

· Dynamism, commitment, strong enthusiasm, sense of responsibility, and autonomy.

· Agility to switch between operational and strategic levels, and vice versa.

· Ability to manage diverse and cross-functional projects simultaneously.

· Ability to structure/build without destroying the existing framework, and to support change.

· Ease working cross-functionally: with other departments and subsidiaries.

· Leadership to lead your team and develop members of the Finance team as well as other departments.

· Excellent communication skills to interact with all types of internal and external stakeholders, and to represent the company to various partners.

· Comfortable with IT tools and new technologies to maximise existing tools and implement future tools.

· Fluent in French and English; mastery of any other language is an asset.
