As a church and non-profit organisation, the Salvation Army Switzerland offers simple and effective support to people in difficult situations. To complete our "Finance Service for Social Institutions" team, we are looking for an experienced Accountant 80 -100%.

Your area of responsibility

• You manage the accounting for several social institutions in French-speaking Switzerland and ensure the timely submission of financial reports with the required quality
• You work within the team in Bern and occasionally in Geneva and also support the team in the accounting of other social institutions in German-speaking Switzerland
• You are open to other tasks in the finance sector

What you bring

• Training as a finance and accounting specialist or several years of professional experience in a similar role
• Very good command of French and German, both spoken and written
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of an ERP system (Business Central is a plus)
• Excellent analytical and synthesising skills
• Flexible, resilient, service-oriented personality
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Identification with the mission and values of the Salvation Army
