The Cantonal Court is the highest authority in civil, criminal and administrative matters. It decides on appeals and complaints against first-instance judgments and also on lawsuits and complaints against decisions of the cantonal administrative authorities. It has a dual function as a judicial authority and as a delegated supervisory body over the administration of justice.

- Independent drafting of judgments mainly in civil and criminal law
- Participation in the instruction of appeal proceedings in these areas of law
- Attendance/minuting at court hearings
- Licence or Master of Law, bar admission or doctorate advantageous
- Strong interest in the aforementioned areas of law
- Ideally several years of professional experience and experience in the mentioned areas of law
- Strong analytical thinking skills, enjoyment in solving legal issues
- High degree of independence and resilience, team player
- Depending on professional experience, employment as Court Clerk-Reporter is possible
- Proficiency in German, editorial skill and precise linguistic expression; good knowledge of French
