What you accomplish

• Active participation in defining and implementing Purchasing strategies by commodity group in collaboration with MIGROS Industrie, ensuring the company’s needs are taken into account
• Proactive management of Purchasing risks and implementation of appropriate measures
• Preparation of market studies for assigned commodity groups
• Evaluation and management of supplier performance overall, in collaboration with involved stakeholders (Quality, R&D, Logistics etc.)
• Preparation of calls for tenders to optimise the company’s total costs
• Representation of the Purchasing function within product development projects: responsibility for implementing and respecting the Purchasing process from defining the functional need to contracting
• Continuous improvement of the Purchasing process to optimise total cost of ownership (TCO), quality and deadlines

What you bring

• Education: Higher education
• Specialisation: in the technical or commercial field with a specialisation in Purchasing or Supply Chain
• Professional experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position, in project management and negotiation
• Interpersonal skills, very good communication and teamwork abilities
• Initiative, leadership, sense of responsibility and organisation
• Strong sense of priority and urgency management
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
• French (B1)
• German (B1)
• English (A2)
