Exciting tasks

• Assist the production manager in organising, coordinating and steering production activities to ensure the manufacture of semi-finished and finished products that meet quality, cost and deadline requirements
• Substitute for the production manager during absences and ensure continuity of operations in the sector
• Maintain, analyse and optimise process parameters across all production lines to ensure performance and stability of the facilities
• Participate in the development, planning and implementation of investment and improvement projects for production equipment, in collaboration with management
• Manage operational and administrative aspects of production personnel (10 employees), including workforce planning, task allocation and activity monitoring, supported by two team leaders
• Ensure availability, proper functioning and optimal use of production facilities
• Guarantee compliance with safety, hygiene, order and cleanliness rules within the production sector
• Implement, document and monitor process tests and validations in accordance with quality requirements and ISO 9001 standards
• Participate in defining and monitoring continuous improvement actions aimed at increasing quality, productivity and process reliability
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance operations of facilities in collaboration with the maintenance workshop
• Coordinate and control the execution of maintenance operations prescribed in the quality system, in collaboration with the production manager and maintenance service

Profile sought

• Certified miller training (fodder or baking feed) or equivalent training in the food industry, with relevant experience in fodder manufacturing
• Proven experience in fodder feed production or in an automated food production industrial environment
• Experience in managing, optimising and monitoring production processes
• Strong knowledge of computer-aided production management systems (CAPM)
• Knowledge of Bühler installations or experience with comparable automated production equipment
• Good knowledge of quality processes and standards applicable to the food industry
• Experience in supervising production teams
• Ability to organise, coordinate and supervise operational activities
• Analytical mindset, results orientation and ability to make decisions in a demanding industrial environment
• Flexibility and availability to occasionally replace mill operators when required
• Fluency in French (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of German is a significant asset; English is an additional advantage.
