Regional Court of Littoral and Val-de-Travers
The District Court is the cantonal judicial authority of first instance. Spread over three sites, it consists of the following sections: the conciliation chamber, the civil court, the child and adult protection authority, the juvenile criminal court, the police court, the criminal court and the coercive measures court.
The Regional Court of Littoral and Val-de-Travers, Boudry site, is recruiting for a clerk-writer position at 70%.
Your tasks
Your role mainly involves drafting decisions and judgments to be issued at the end of proceedings conducted by the judges of the Regional Court of Littoral and Val-de-Travers, Boudry site. It also involves analysing files and conducting legal research, alone or in collaboration with the magistrates. Furthermore, you will be called upon to carry out various tasks related to the documentation and management of the cases entrusted to you, particularly in the preparation of correspondence. More broadly, all legal assistance tasks related to the work of the judges and the registry may be assigned to you.
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, complemented by the lawyer’s certificate and ideally have at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a legal professional (post obtaining the lawyer’s certificate), preferably in the judicial environment, or any other experience useful for the position. Recognised for your loyalty and discretion, you are strongly committed to public service values and have a keen sense of responsibility. Able to work independently, you take initiatives within the scope of your assigned competences and are appreciated for both your rigour and versatility. You are also able to handle a significant workload while managing stress, thanks to a strong sense of organisation and priority management.
