Chief Mechanic 100% (m/f/d)
InterBUS SA - your specialist for coaches and line buses - a company of the Hess group
As a service and trading company headquartered in Chiètres with 6 other branches and a total of 100 employees, we offer our customers a comprehensive service for line buses and coaches.
For our Yverdon branch specialised in heavy vehicles, particularly coaches, we are looking for the ideal person to fill the position of chief heavy vehicle mechanic immediately or by arrangement.
Could you be this person?
Your main tasks
- Ensure an on-call service (24 x 7 x 365) for the interBUS Vaud region
- Operational planning of employees and continuous adaptation to current needs
- Clarify technical aspects with manufacturers and OEMs
- Technical assistance to employees
- Replace the workshop manager during absences
- Support the workshop manager in management tasks
- Perform diagnostics on line and travel vehicles
Your profile
- Federal diploma as an automotive diagnostic technician or willingness to obtain it
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken French (German as a second language is an advantage)
- Driving licence B and C (mandatory)
- Enjoyment of customer contact and good communication skills
- Ability to react calmly, thoughtfully and amicably in stressful situations
- Ability to work within a team
- Good knowledge of common MS Office programmes
- Knowledge of an ERP system (Navision)
- You are an organised person
- Autonomous and meticulous working method
- Leadership skills
