What you can contribute
- Perform maintenance and repair work on all light, heavy and special airport vehicles, specifically on tanker vehicles
- Work in a team with irregular hours including nights, weekends and public holidays as part of airspace surveillance
- Commit as a member of the fire brigade within the operational fire service; regularly participate in major accident simulation exercises and collaborate with other stakeholders (regional defence services)
- Take part in assignments in German-speaking Switzerland
What makes you unique
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an automotive mechatronics technician for heavy tyre vehicles or similar training (e.g. agricultural or construction machinery mechanic) with several years of experience
- Sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills, team spirit and flexibility
- Good mental and physical resilience
- Good knowledge of at least one other official language
- Computer skills (MS Office, SAP)
- Possession of a category C or CE driving licence
