It ensures endoscopic, percutaneous, and interventional procedures for the aforementioned organs. It actively participates in the Center for Digestive Diseases and Hepatology: a reference center in Switzerland. More than cases per year are discussed there. It takes care of patients suffering from liver, biliary tract, and pancreatic diseases. These often complex cases require the opinion of several specialists.Deputy Physician in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Service - 100%In your capacity as a senior physician, you work in a stimulating university environment, within a multidisciplinary team, and are required to participate in the clinical activities of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Service and assist the Head of Service and the deputy physicians in the care, management of activities, and clinical, therapeutic, and endoscopic interventions of the patients entrusted to you. You participate in the on-call system for the specialty in the second line. Demonstrating a confirmed interest in teaching, you participate in pre/post-graduate and continuing education in gastroenterology and hepatology. Flexible and committed, you develop interdisciplinary clinical projects. You deploy and ensure research in the field.You hold a medical degree and have obtained an FMH specialist title in gastroenterology and hepatology. If your degree comes from a foreign country, you have obtained or must obtain recognition by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). You have several years of experience in gastroenterology and hepatology with recognized expertise in interventional endoscopy (ERCP, digestive stents, EMR, ESD) and diagnostic and therapeutic digestive endoscopic ultrasound (more than 5 years independently). If you hold a degree in interventional endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound, this would be an asset. You are also in possession of a doctoral thesis, an MD-PhD, or a title deemed equivalent. You are in possession of or must obtain a cantonal right to practice. For non-French speakers, a C1 level in French in the spoken and written test is required.Possessing excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, and committed person. In addition, you have demonstrated strong organizational skills, show open-mindedness, and possess leadership qualities allowing you to supervise and mentor interns and chief residents as well as to support and motivate staff.
