What you accomplish
- You pay particular attention to the freshness of fruit, vegetables and bread, and you fight food waste by placing insightful orders
- Order fresh products and all other goods, receive them, check them and store them in your store
- Correctly implement concepts in the store
- Check the expiry dates of fresh products
- As an assistant, lead, support and promote team members – and serve as a role model for them
- As an assistant, you share responsibility for the figures – in terms of turnover, personnel costs and stock of goods
What you bring
- Education: Completed professional apprenticeship (AFP)
- Specialisation: in retail (food) or a related profession is an advantage
- Professional experience: Three years or more of professional experience as a department, sector or aisle manager in retail is an advantage
- Love fresh products and ideally have experience in this area
- Physically fit, some packages weigh up to 10 kilos
- Ability to plan and organise tasks and a keen sense for interpreting key figures
- Good knowledge of computers, tablets and smartphones, quick adaptability to other digital tools (e.g. for merchandise management)
- French (B1)
