Description
The Application Engineer is responsible for the management, integration and continuous improvement of critical business applications in the healthcare sector.
He/she ensures the stability, security and performance of key systems such as PIS, RIS, PACS and LIS, while guaranteeing their suitability for operational and clinical needs.
This role directly contributes to the optimisation of services for patients, healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
Application Management
- Ensure the management of critical applications of the health information system
- Guarantee their availability, performance, stability and ergonomics
- Analyse level 3 incidents, coordinate their resolution and implement sustainable solutions
- Keep documentation, configurations and operational procedures up to date
System Integration and Evolution
- Translate business and clinical needs into technical solutions
- Ensure the integration of systems (PIS, RIS, PACS, LIS and others)
- Manage interfaces, data flows and application dependencies
- Participate in testing, validation and production deployments
- Train and support users
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with clinical, operational and IT teams
- Interact with publishers and external partners
- Coordinate incidents, changes and improvements
- Ensure clear communication with all interlocutors
Governance, Security and Quality
- Comply with IT standards, security requirements and internal controls
- Contribute to access management and data protection
- Participate in risk and quality assessments
Projects and Transformation
- Contribute to application evolution and deployment projects
- Participate in digital initiatives, including artificial intelligence
- Support integration phases in contexts of external growth
- Ensure the transition between projects and operations
Profile
Skills
- Strong knowledge of applications, infrastructures, networks and IT security
- Experience with health information systems (PIS, RIS, PACS, LIS)
- Ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ease in communication with technical and business profiles
- Structured approach, autonomy and results orientation
- Strong sense of service and pragmatism
Languages
- Proficiency in English
- Good level of French and German required
