Our client is a public institution located in Geneva.

Responsibilities

Within the administrative and technical services, the Accounting and Finance Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising accounting and finance activities, in accordance with the framework set by management.

In this context, the main tasks will be as follows:

* Ensure the budgetary and financial monitoring of the institution in close collaboration with management

* Prepare budget forecasts in view of planned expenses and commitments

* Produce financial reports necessary for the accounting and financial management of the institution and communicate them to budget holders and management

* Establish and develop management tools for budget monitoring

* Control the maintenance of analytical and financial accounting carried out by the accounting team

* Actively participate in the closing of accounts and analyse discrepancies

Candidate Profile

The Accounting and Finance Manager we are looking for will bring the following background and skills:

* Higher education in accounting, finance or business economics

* Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar position

* Proficiency in common IT tools

* Strong knowledge of analytical accounting

* Ability to take initiative and work independently

* Available, calm and personable
