Your mission
As part of strengthening the industrial activities of our client, we are looking for a Team Leader on a 2x8 shift, to manage a team of 25 to 30 employees.
As a Team Leader, you oversee the daily production activity and ensure operational performance, while emphasising interpersonal skills: leadership, communication, team spirit and leading by example.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and motivate the production team daily.
- Supervise and coordinate activities on the lines and ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing schedule.
- Guarantee quality, safety and respect for manufacturing deadlines.
- Control and validate product conformity (quality, yield, waste) and monitor performance indicators.
- Plan human and material resources according to production objectives.
- Manage contingencies, identify malfunctions, propose corrective actions and coordinate interventions with maintenance.
- Ensure communication between production, technical services and operators.
- Propose and implement training, develop versatility and support employees (skills monitoring, appraisals).
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
Your profile:
- Federal VET Diploma in a technical trade (mechanics, polymechanics, machine operator, etc.), ideally complemented by foreman/team leader training (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in team leadership in an industrial environment (ideally at least 5 years).
- Strong management and team facilitation skills (20 to 30 people).
- Good communication skills, leadership and conflict management ability.
- Knowledge of industrial processes and work organisation.
- Proficiency in an ERP and production tracking tools.
- Interpersonal skills: team spirit, reliability, flexibility, openness to change, sense of responsibility.
- Fluent spoken and written French.
- Willingness to work on a team shift schedule (2x8).
