It works daily to strengthen social ties and support mutual aid activities in the canton. Through its 27 members, it offers more than 150 services covering all stages of life. To support its development, it is opening the position of:Director at 50%Main missionUnder the authority of the management committee, the Director ensures the overall management of the organization. They guarantee the proper functioning of mutual aid activities, the development of the partner network, the management of human resources (volunteers and/or employees), as well as administrative and financial management.Main activities- Steering and implementation: Define and implement the strategy in connection with the management committee. Plan, coordinate, and evaluate mutual aid activities (support for families, listening, accompaniment, logistical aid). Develop new projects according to field needs.- Human management: Recruit and supervise volunteers and/or employees. Foster a climate of trust, listening, and respect. Organize regular team meetings and training days.- Administration and finances: Ensure daily management. Develop and monitor the budget. Prepare grant application files, ensure the link with funders. Prepare activity reports for the management committee and the General Assembly.- Representation: Represent the organization to institutions, partners, and the media. Develop the network of partners at the local and cantonal level. Ensure the visibility of actions via communication tools (website, social networks, events...).Profile- Higher education in social work, health, management, or equivalent.- Confirmed experience in a management or coordination position in the social sector or in project management, leadership.- Mastery of office tools and good writing skills.- Knowledge of the Vaud social fabric and the functioning of associations.- Ability to work with diverse audiences (authorities, volunteers, employees, institutions).Personal qualities- Sense of responsibility, autonomy, reliability.- Excellent communication and listening skills.- Adherence to the values of mutual aid and a spirit of commitment.Type of contract: Indefinite duration at a rate of 50% (salary according to Vaud scale).Workplace: Lausanne, with travel in the canton (driver's license desired).Start date: March 1st with a period of handover of responsibilities and ongoing projects.If this position interests you, please send your complete file in PDF (cover letter, CV, salary expectations) by June 30th by email.
