The Marterey Childcare Institution (IPE) in LausanneDirector (%)The Marterey Childcare Institution (IPE) in Lausanne is a collective day care facility managed by the Vaud Youth Aid Center (CVAJ). It has a capacity of 41 places for children from 4 months old until they start school. Primarily subsidized by the City of Lausanne (SPE) and the Canton of Vaud (DIRIS), it has the particularity of being a relay location for families benefiting from socio-professional integration measures or courses within the framework of the Interest Community for Adult Training (CIFEA).We are looking for a:Director (%)Main responsibilities:- Promote listening and support for families and children.- Develop and adjust the institutional concept based on an effective continuous definition of quality.- Guarantee compliance with the objectives and principles defined in the institutional concept.- Evaluate the practice in a systematic and continuous manner and lead pedagogical reflection with teams and families.- Take measures to improve the quality of childcare and the reception of families, propose projects.- Develop inter-team collaboration, promote institutional decompartmentalization and openness to the neighborhood.- Accompany and advise staff and families in the complexity of situations encountered.- In agreement with parents, ensure necessary contacts with social, medical, paramedical, or competent services.- In compliance with available places and resources, standards, and regulations, ensure the organization of work and the registration of children.- Manage staff hours, presence, and absences.- Recruit permanent and auxiliary staff, set objectives.- Ensure the follow-up of performance reviews for all staff.- Motivate staff to pursue the objectives developed for the staff and the institution.- Actively participate in development projects and respond to related requests.- Participate in network meetings (R-L, DIRIS, etc.), inter-service CVAJ meetings, and transmit information received to the team.- Keep general management and the management of other services informed of the smooth running of the service by providing regular feedback on activities.- Promote the good image of the service and inform parents, the public, and partners about the goals and functioning of the service.Profile:- Holder of a HES degree in Social Work (TS, TSP, TSHM).- Degree in management or equivalent.- Higher degree in systemic, social, and plural societies, inclusion, or equivalent.- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of social work.- Minimum 3 years in project management or management.- Excellent understanding of the issues related to Vaud day care.- Excellent knowledge of the Lausanne and Vaud network of social work resources.- Interest in complex social situations and the reception of families in situations of precariousness or vulnerability.- Mastery of current and WEB tools.- Recognized leadership skills.- Ease in communication, both written and oral.- Ability to work in a team.- Understanding of financial and budgetary management principles.- Skills and techniques specific to the management of variable duration placements and mixed funding.- Experience and aptitude for the analysis and development of pedagogical concepts related to early childhood reception.- Willingness to invest in an organization working for youth aid and critical thinking.- Interpersonal skills and sound judgment.Start date: July 1st or to be agreed upon.Salary conditions: class 12, scale of the City of Lausanne.Workplace: Rue Marterey 23 in Lausanne.Interested in taking on this challenge?Then, we await your complete application (cover letter, CV, work certificates, diplomas, salary expectations) until May 10th at the address: [Email address removed]For any information on the position, you may contact the CVAJ Director by phone. jid79c94a3aen jit0418aen jpiy26aen
