Swiss Olympic is the umbrella organization of Swiss sports and the Olympic Committee of Switzerland. In this dual role, Swiss Olympic creates the best possible conditions for sporting success on the stage and defends the interests of organized Swiss sport in a private manner. Through its commitment, the umbrella organization supports and strengthens its 117 members (87 sports organizations and 30 partners), which encompass about 2.5 million people within nearly 1,000 clubs. In this demanding and exposed role, you will assume overall responsibility for Swiss Olympic as the umbrella organization of Swiss sports and the Olympic Committee. You will work closely with the president and report directly to the executive board. You will lead the organization consisting of about 100 employees and effectively implement the strategic goals. In this capacity, you will ensure that the structures, processes, and governance rules are adapted to current requirements, that the organization continues its professional development, and that Swiss Olympic positions itself with its members as a modern, service-oriented, and reliable entity.As the head of the management committee, you encourage a performance-oriented, integrated culture based on values, strengthen cross-departmental collaboration, and, as one of the faces of Swiss Olympic, guarantee clear and professional internal and external communications. In the area of financing, you are responsible for managing public funds and developing new funding models. You oversee budget management and control, as well as positioning and representing Swiss Olympic as a central player in Swiss sports policy with authorities, the Olympic Committee, and other stakeholders. You identify relevant developments early and contribute to the sustainable anchoring of areas such as talent development, performance sports, and good governance. You are also responsible for the optimal preparation of Swiss Olympians and represent Swiss Olympic at the Olympic Games as the Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Switzerland.We are addressing an experienced and inspiring executive personality who possesses extensive management experience at the C-level in complex environments, ideally linked to the sports sector or sports policy.
