In this capacity, nursing management has oversight over all care activities (nursing staff and various health professional bodies). To fulfill its mission, it relies on three deputy directors in charge of care, professionals, and interprofessionalism. Please address your application using this link.In this role, you will lead the institutional nursing policy and directly contribute to the quality, safety, and care within the hospital. As a permanent member of the management committee, you will be involved in key decisions that guide the mission and development of the institution. You will propose a clear vision and define professional standards and frameworks that ensure a high level of quality. You will drive continuous improvement processes and lead actions that optimize team performance, safety of care, and coherence of care pathways. In collaboration with care teams and medical departments, you will develop a harmonized functioning across all care sectors, while consolidating relationships with the cantonal and regional network. You will identify opportunities for collaboration with internal and/or external partners, acting as a promoter of interprofessionalism.You will place a central focus on training and development of future leaders: initial and continuing education, deployment of leadership, and policies in close collaboration with academic and professional partners. You will actively support various programs and development plans for future leaders at the internal level and initiate and lead projects and/or research aimed at enriching knowledge in nursing science, improving care quality, and anticipating technological, diagnostic, and therapeutic evolutions. You will actively participate in the implementation of the institutional project and in the logistical and architectural infrastructure development necessary for evolution. You will represent the nursing authority to the General Management, internal and external bodies, professionals, and institutional partners. You will contribute to the HUG bodies and advise the General Management on all issues related to care.You hold a degree in nursing sciences supplemented by continuing education in leadership. You have held positions in a large-scale hospital, ideally a university hospital, and have a perfect command of complex environments, possessing strong management skills: steering of human and financial resources, workload analysis, and coordination between different departments. Your expertise in care quality and safety is recognized: defining standards, implementing audit processes and continuous improvement. Thanks to your analytical and listening skills, you are capable of making informed decisions in an ever-evolving context. You demonstrate coherence between your decisions and actions throughout your career and have shown proven abilities to unite teams, support major changes, and promote the organization. You are recognized for your excellent communication skills and demonstrate a strong interest in education and leadership development, with an ability to collaborate closely with educational partners.
