The EMS la Charmaie SA is located in Muraz (VS). Residents are welcomed and supported within four living units, including one specialised, as well as a day centre, in a caring, peaceful environment that encourages intergenerational exchanges.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspire — carry a clear vision and bring the institution’s culture to life
- Translate the Board of Directors’ directions into concrete priorities and projects
- Combine heritage, current needs and future prospects to ensure the continuity and development of the establishment
- Promote a culture based on good care, respect for dignity and preservation of autonomy
- Represent the establishment to authorities, partners and bodies within the medico-social network
Unite — mobilise teams and strengthen links with all actors of the institution
- Support the management team and sector managers in carrying out their responsibilities
- Foster a climate of trust, collaboration and respect
- Support skills development and employee engagement
- Maintain constructive relationships with residents, relatives, partners and the network
Guarantee — ensure the quality of support, the smooth running of the establishment and its sustainability
- Ensure efficient and controlled management of human, financial and material resources
- Guarantee the quality, safety and continuity of services offered to residents
- Ensure the institution’s compliance with legal, regulatory and professional requirements
- Manage the organisation and resources to ensure the sustainability and harmonious development of the establishment
WHAT YOU BRING
- Recognised training as a director of a social or medico-social institution, willingness to undertake this training, or relevant tertiary education (HES, university or equivalent) in relation to the role
- Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in a management role involving overall organisational leadership
- Ability to combine strategic vision, operational realities and institutional development
- Strong skills in governance, human resource management, financial management and organisational leadership
- Good understanding of the health and medico-social system
- Ability to create conditions allowing teams, residents and their relatives to build lasting relationships of trust
- Listening skills, discernment, solution-seeking and ability to make decisions in environments where human issues are central
- Ability to maintain balance between quality of support, stakeholder expectations and sustainability of the institution
