Digital Communications & Media Junior Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (included but not limited to)
The Digital Communications & Media Junior Manager works closely with the Media and Communications departments primarily to implement FISU’s digital communications and content strategy to increase visibility, engagement and user/audience growth on its digital platform.
OTT (Over-the-top) & MAM (Media Asset Management) platform management
Manage day-to-day operations of OTT platform including scheduling, publishing, metadata tagging, and quality control across all content touchpoints.
Administer and maintain the MAM system — overseeing ingest, cataloguing, versioning, archiving, and retrieval of all digital assets.
Coordinate end-to-end delivery workflows from content acquisition through to on-platform publication, ensuring SLAs and delivery deadlines are met.
Liaise with technical teams, post-production, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot platform issues and optimise asset pipelines.
Monitor platform performance, uptime, and user experience; escalate and manage resolution of any operational incidents.
Content curation & planning
Lead end-to-end content curation across OTT and MAM platforms — programming editorial calendars, managing content catalogues, and ensuring a coherent and engaging audience experience, in line with communications and content management strategies in place.
Work closely with creative and editorial teams to brief, plan, and schedule original and licensed content releases.
Develop and maintain content metadata standards to ensure discoverability and searchability across platforms.
Identify content gaps and opportunities based on audience data, seasonal trends, and platform analytics.
Monitor digital consumption trends, streaming industry developments, and competitor platforms to inform strategy and programming decisions.
Collaborate with communications team to align platform content with audience acquisition and retention campaigns.
Analyse platform KPIs (views, watch time, engagement, churn) and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Media and Communications Support
