The Swiss Watch Industry Federation FH is the primary contact for the Swiss watch industry, representing more than 90% of the sector's companies. It defends the interests of its members, coordinates strategic actions, and represents the industry on the international stage. A central role for a global impact in favour of Swiss watchmaking.
For our communications department, we are looking for a
Digital Communication Specialist 80%
Trained as a media technician, you contribute to the visibility and influence of FH's activities by designing, producing, and distributing digital and multimedia communication content, including video content production (shooting and editing).
You manage digital platforms, develop online community engagement, and ensure consistent communication across all distribution channels.
Your tasks
Production and creation of multimedia content
- Plan and coordinate audiovisual projects by defining concepts, scripts, storyboards, resources, schedules, and necessary technical means
- Organise and supervise video shoots as well as photographic and sound recordings
- Carry out video and audio recordings using professional equipment
- Process and post-produce content: video editing, image retouching, audio optimisation, effects integration, subtitling, and graphic design
- Adapt and publish content in appropriate formats according to distribution platforms
- Design and deliver webinars in collaboration with relevant departments: preparation, recording, production, post-production, and distribution
Digital communication and community management
- Implement the digital communication strategy by developing content tailored to different target audiences and distribution channels
- Publish and manage content for social media, websites, and other digital media
- Animate and moderate online communities, ensuring constructive interaction with various audiences
- Conduct strategic, competitive, and sectoral monitoring to identify trends, opportunities, and communication needs
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) of digital communication actions and propose continuous improvement measures
- Ensure optimisation of user experience as well as adherence to best technical and editorial practices
Web platform management
- Administer and update FH's websites and digital platforms
- Integrate, publish, and update content ensuring quality, coherence, and accessibility
- Ensure the technical proper functioning of platforms and coordinate necessary interventions with providers or the IT department
- Optimise natural referencing (SEO) and visibility of digital content
- Publish and keep information from various departments up to date
- Analyse traffic statistics and content performance to propose improvements and support communication objectives
Administration
- Collaborate on administrative tasks: handle external requests, organise and lead meetings and events, draft correspondence related to purchases, offers, sales, and invoices
The profile we are looking for
- Certified media technician with experience (minimum 2-3 years)
- Experience in video content production, from shooting to final editing (framing, basic lighting, simple sound recording) for digital content
- Project management skills (planning, budgeting, providers)
- Organised, autonomous, and a good team spirit
- Native French speaker, minimum B2 level in English, German is an asset
- Knowledge of Swiss watchmaking is an asset
