Dietitian
Job Definition and Mission
Ensure personalised nutritional care for patients and clients, promote health through a balanced diet based on scientific data, and contribute to an interdisciplinary approach in collaboration with medical and hospitality teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Nutritional care of in-patients
- Welcome international patients and define their dietary regimen
- Explain the nutritional concept of the programmes
- Provide personalised daily nutritional coaching
- Utilise medical results (laboratory, body composition, etc.)
- Offer nutritional advice according to medical prescription
- Ensure patient data follow-up in the system (OPALE)
- Write dietary reports for doctors
Coordination with catering
- Collaborate with the kitchen, restaurant, and housekeeping
- Transmit necessary information for meal preparation
- Supervise meal quality and patient satisfaction
- Advise patients in the restaurant on their food choices
Care of hospitalised patients
- Plan menus according to pathologies and specific needs
- Adapt meals according to the patient’s condition evolution
- Collaborate with medical and nursing teams
- Ensure follow-up of nutritional records
- Conduct dietary assessments
Care of outpatients
- Conduct dietary consultations
- Develop nutritional education (prevention and treatment)
- Write reports for attending physicians
- Ensure information transmission to the finance department
Content creation and continuous improvement
- Create and update nutritional educational materials
- Apply principles of Evidence-Based Practice
- Participate in continuous practice improvement
- Collaborate with medical specialists (nutrition, diabetology, gastroenterology)
Training and collaboration
- Train and supervise new colleagues and interns
- Ensure smooth communication between departments
- Respect hierarchy and transmit important information
General responsibilities
- Guarantee quality nutritional care
- Contribute to patients’ wellbeing and health
- Ensure effective coordination with teams
- Represent the high-end image of the Clinic
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant experience in clinical dietetics or nutrition
- Excellent organisational skills
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English (minimum)
