Reporting to the HR Manager, you act as a close HR partner to a major department comprising diverse populations. In this capacity, you support managers and employees on all operational HR matters while contributing to the implementation of the organisation's HR strategy.



Deputy HR Manager - One Year Assignment

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Ensure operational human resources management in direct support of the HR Manager;
  • Advise and support managers in the daily management of their teams, as well as in identifying and anticipating their skills needs;
  • Intervene throughout the employee lifecycle: recruitment, internal mobility, talent management, career development and departures;
  • Support employees with their HR issues throughout their professional journey;
  • Manage complex or sensitive individual situations and contribute to their resolution by ensuring a pragmatic approach compliant with current regulations;
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, internal procedures and the regulatory framework;
  • Work closely with specialised HR teams (personnel administration, remuneration, recruitment, mobility, training) to ensure a smooth employee experience and harmonised process management;
  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects, working groups and committees related to the organisation's development challenges;
  • Represent the HR function to various internal stakeholders;
  • Ensure continuity of HR activities and replace the HR Manager in their absence when necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Higher education in Human Resources, labour law, management or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in a HR Business Partner role, HR Manager or senior HR generalist within a complex environment;
  • Strong skills in labour law and human relations management;
  • Ability to support managers on operational and strategic issues;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, listening ability and capacity to build trust;
  • Analytical mindset, pragmatism and aptitude to handle sensitive situations discreetly;
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment involving multiple stakeholders.
