Description

OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Beau Soleil, we believe it’s what you do that counts. This philosophy holds true in all that we do as staff and for our students. We are a community that believes in the power of action, engagement and participation, inside and outside of the classroom.

Our unique holistic education is built around four core values: Respect, Responsibility, Ambition and Determination, which provide a framework to community life for our international student body. Our students come from over fifty different countries, with diverse academic backgrounds and a wide range of future aspirations.

With curricular programmes in both English and French, students graduate with an IB or Advanced Studies Diploma. Within this framework, small class sizes allow for a flexible programme and staff are encouraged and supported to bring new ideas to all that they do.

OUR COMMUNITY
Our location in the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon, offers an enviable lifestyle with access to skiing in the winter months and a multitude of outdoor and sporting activities throughout the year. Montreux, Lausanne and Geneva are all within easy reach for cultural adventures and inspiration.

The Beau Soleil campus is an inspiring place to work with facilities that are second to none. Our ongoing campus development and maintenence programme ensures that our students and staff thrive in an environment of which they can be rightly proud.

YOUR PROFILE
Step into a role where every day brings connection, challenge, and the chance to shape lives.

At Collège Beau Soleil, boarding is more than a place to sleep — it’s where friendships are forged, confidence grows, and unforgettable moments unfold. Our girls’ boarding house is a vibrant, welcoming space where students feel safe, supported, and inspired. As Deputy Housemistress, you’ll be at the heart of that experience.

Working closely with the Housemistress, you’ll help lead a home full of warmth, structure, and purpose. You’ll set the tone for daily life, offering guidance, encouragement, and care — whether during morning routines, weekend activities, or quiet evening check-ins. When the Housemistress is away, you’ll take the reins, ensuring that the house runs smoothly and every girl in your care feels heard, valued, and empowered.

Beyond the logistics, this is a role that invites you to be a mentor, a role model, and a steady presence during a life chapter that shapes who they become — personally, socially, and emotionally.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role, where no two days are the same. You’ll build close relationships with students, families, and staff, weaving together pastoral support and academic progress. You’ll also bring your energy and enthusiasm into the classroom with a reduced teaching load, and play an active part in our co-curricular life — from creative workshops to alpine adventures.

We’re looking for someone who leads with empathy, communicates with clarity, and thrives in a team. If you’re passionate about helping young people grow into confident, kind, and resilient individuals, we’d love to welcome you to our community.
