100% Assistant to the Head of the Land Use Planning Department - Building Control SpecialistYour mission:- Provide support to the department head in the overall management of the Land Use Planning Department's activities;- Ensure the replacement of the department head during their absences;- Manage and follow up on files related to building control, from file analysis to the issuance of the occupancy/use permit;- Collaborate with engineering firms, architects, and others on site inspections and health and safety visits to assess the compliance of projects with legal and regulatory requirements;- Provide technical expertise to team members in the execution of their tasks related to the department's areas of activity;- Assist in the development and implementation of procedures related to land use planning, mobility, and the environment;- Monitor the evolution of laws, regulations, and standards in the field of land use planning and construction;- Work in close cooperation with other members of the department team and the relevant services within the municipality during various inter-municipal technical meetings;- Write clear and concise minutes of technical sessions and meetings;- Actively contribute to discussions, share best practices, exchange relevant information, and promote collaboration.Profile:- Holder of a higher education degree or a university degree in a profession related to urban planning, land use planning, mobility, or the environment;- Confirmed experience of at least 2 years in the management of building control, as well as in the fields of land use planning, mobility, or the environment, within or in collaboration with public institutions;- Specific knowledge of building control, public institutions, the Vaud legal framework, and public procurement procedures;- Written and spoken mastery of French is essential;- A level of B1 or higher in English is an asset.- You have a sense of responsibility, are reliable, helpful, and flexible with working hours. You are quality-oriented and demonstrate good autonomy. Furthermore, you possess a strong sense of public service and show diplomacy and interpersonal skills in your interactions.
