Departmental Financial Manager Job Description At the heart of the financial management challenges of a department, this key position allows you to contribute to the management and finances, supporting the Secretary General and the Department Head. Through financial data analysis, you provide a clear, reliable, and results-oriented vision. In a transversal environment, you supervise financial management processes in compliance with legal frameworks and support services in their financial challenges. You also contribute to the development of professionals and the continuous improvement of the internal control system, as well as the monitoring of financial risks of the department. The supervision of the overall financial management completes this scope. Responsibilities Produce and interpret financial analyses to inform decision-making during budget cycles and financial tracking of the department, ensuring the consistency and reliability of data. Ensure compliance with legal bases, directives, and procedures in financial management. Support and coordinate financial interlocutors in the department in a logic of transversality. Superior education in finance, economics, or an equivalent title in management control or public finances. At least one year of confirmed professional experience in a financial management role.
