Data Protection Specialist – Temporary 4-Month Assignment



Within our General Services department, you join a committed and expert team that works daily to ensure compliance and data protection within the organisation. In this key role, you actively contribute to the implementation and development of the data protection framework within the Assura Group. You support the business units and Management to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory data protection requirements, while participating in effective governance of data and associated risks.

You provide support to the Data Protection Officer and play a central role in promoting a culture of data protection across the organisation.

What you do on a daily basis

You advise the business units on data protection issues and manage requests from data subjects regarding their rights (e.g. right of access, rectification, right to be forgotten, etc.) in collaboration with internal teams. You handle personal data breaches and participate in managing data security breaches in collaboration with the Information Security Service.

You analyse the compliance of company projects, contracts, as well as existing and new data processing activities, with legal requirements and recommendations from the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. You assist the business units in conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).

You participate in the development and updating of internal data protection regulations for the Group. You maintain and develop the processing activities register. Finally, you conduct audits and raise awareness among Management and employees about legal requirements and best practices in data protection, thereby contributing to the continuous strengthening of the Group’s compliance.

What you bring to the team

You have a university degree, ideally in law or computer science, complemented by a specialisation in data protection. You have proven experience in a similar role, with solid practice in personal data protection issues, ideally with experience in social insurance.

You demonstrate excellent analytical skills and great rigour in your work, with a methodical and structured approach. Equipped with strong communication and synthesis skills, you know how to simplify complex topics and interact effectively with various stakeholders.

You stand out for your team spirit, interpersonal skills, and flexibility. Organised, autonomous, and responsive, you are capable of making quick and relevant decisions while ensuring a high level of reliability in your activities.
