The Financial Control Service (CFI) is responsible for the financial oversight of municipal entities and companies subsidized by the City of Geneva, as well as annual accounts. The service reports directly to the City of Geneva Council and works closely with the Secretary General and department heads. To strengthen its team, the CFI is looking for a Data Manager at 90%.Your mission and responsibilities- Modernize the service by optimizing existing tools or implementing new ones.- Automate reporting to gain efficiency and precision.- Support audit teams with advanced data analysis (predictive insights).- Intervene in system audit missions and digital risk management.Profile- Hold a university degree in science, or equivalent, in a field relevant to the position.- Have professional experience in system auditing and data analysis of more than one year, ideally in auditing or the public sector.- Perfectly master French, both written and spoken.- Master tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IDEA, SAP.- Have good knowledge of artificial intelligence.- Be able to perform data extractions and analyses and master scripts (Python, SCL, Power BI, visualization tools).- Demonstrate rigor and flexibility.- Possess a good aptitude for managing unforeseen events, excellent writing skills (report writing), a developed sense of service, and offer quality solutions.- Demonstrate a sense of responsibility and autonomy.- Be able to approach work from an interdisciplinary perspective and keep knowledge constantly up to date.Conditions and registration procedureRegistration deadline:Start date: to be agreed uponJob classification: Class G of the salary scaleThe application file must contain the following elements:- Cover letter- Curriculum Vitae or, failing that, a completed Job Application form (to be downloaded from our website)- Copies of diplomas and work certificatesFollow-up of applicationsFor the City of Geneva, the recruitment process is decentralized.
