Today we are looking for an engineer to join us. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the internal solution for synthetic data for testing environments. Your goal: to reduce production data in collaboration with the test teams, technical teams, and programs.Responsibilities:- Maintain and evolve the Python codebase for synthetic data generation and injection- Develop modules towards different systems (internal APIs, data buses, legacy systems)- Design and adjust synthetic data sets according to project needs- Ensure the stability and performance of the data pipeline- Document and contribute to continuous improvement of the solution in collaboration with project teams to adapt the data solution to their APIs and technical constraints- Challenge the existing architecture and propose improvements- Provide technical support on transversal issues related to synthetic dataYour profile:- Engineering degree (EPF, HES) or equivalent- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role, with confirmed experience in Python development in a collaborative environment- Personal skills: Autonomy, clarity, and ability to collaborate with multiple teams- Languages: English B2 minimum, both oral and written- Required presence: Physical presence in Lausanne (minimum 2 days a week)- Experience in an Agile environment- Proficiency in Python and strong foundation in software architecture- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and external systemsPreferred skills:- Knowledge of a messaging bus (Kafka or equivalent)- Mastery of Git and workflows (branches, PR, reviews)- Experience with synthetic data or GDPR and sense of risk- Experience as QA/Tester or similar role- French B2 minimum, both oral and writtenAdditional details: Employment rate: 80%, position in person with 2 days of remote work possible, start date to be defined.Recruitment process steps at API:Let's get started!
