As part of our digital framework, we are looking for a data governance expert able to ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data at the heart of our business processes. As a Data Governance Expert, you play a key role in the management of our data, the implementation of guidelines, and the continuous monitoring of data quality. In this position, you will integrate into a motivated team of 6 people and play a central role in supporting our missions, which include: - Establishing and maintaining data reference models (master data), defining associated management rules, and ensuring data consistency between different source systems.- Writing advanced SQL and MongoDB queries to audit data quality, produce ad hoc analyses, and feed quality control pipelines.- Designing and maintaining data quality dashboards (completeness, consistency, accuracy, uniqueness) and steering corrective action plans.- Documenting and enforcing governance policies, standards, and processes across the organization.- Managing Master Data Management projects, defining rules for management and supervision of associated tools.- Analyzing complex data models (logical and physical documents), defining associated mappings, and documenting requirements.Requirements:- Proven experience with MDM tools (e.g., MDM, Semarchy, Talend MDM, or equivalent) and entity resolution engines.- Advanced mastery of SQL (complex queries, stored procedures) and MongoDB (document queries).- Advanced knowledge of a BI tool for designing data quality dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).- Ability to read, analyze, and document complex data models (ERD, MCD, NoSQL schemas).- Knowledge of quality dimensions (DAMA-DMBOK, ISO) and profiling methodologies.- Proven experience in implementing a data governance framework.- Experience with Azure data lake and warehouse is a plus.- A profile with a higher education degree (HES, Bachelor's/Master EPFL or equivalent) and at least 5 years of experience in a data governance, data quality, or MDM-focused role.- Strong analytical and synthesis skills in the face of large, heterogeneous datasets.- A rigorous, solution-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a strong data culture.- Effective application of Scrum methodology within teams.- Fluency in French; English is an asset, and you are open and curious, enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team. - Customer-oriented and enthusiastic, you have ease of communication.
