Job Title and Role Summary

The selected candidate will support activities related to energy analysis and programming, with a

particular focus on data processing and interpretation.

The role requires the ability to use IT tools (especially Excel) to develop forecasting models, create

reports, and contribute to the optimization of business processes.

Sector knowledge in the field of energy markets or regulatory frameworks can be considered a plus, but

it is not essential: the key requirement is proficiency with IT systems and the ability to transform data

into useful information for management.

Required / Preferred Technical Skills

· Completed or ongoing Master’s degree in Data Science / Computer Science / Mathematics /

· Data analysis and programming: Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn), R, SQL.

· Business intelligence and dashboarding: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.

· Energy database management: knowledge of SCADA, EMS (Energy Management Systems), weather and consumption data.

· Energy modeling: demand/supply forecasting, production optimization, load balancing algorithms.

· Sector knowledge: electricity markets (Day Ahead, Intraday, Balancing Market), ARERA regulations, PUN, renewable energies, storage.

Soft Skills

· Ability to communicate results to non-technical stakeholders (management reporting).

· Problem solving and quick interpretation of complex data.

· Goal-oriented with a focus on energy KPIs.

Main Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of energy data. Specifically, they will

collect, clean, and analyze data related to production, consumption, and electricity market trends,

ensuring information is always accurate and up to date.

Another key responsibility will be the development of forecasting models capable of estimating energy

demand and supply, thus supporting the company in portfolio optimization and in making strategic

decisions regarding production planning.
