Credit Audit Domain Manager


Do you want to develop in a professional environment that is always evolving, stimulating and inspiring? Join the Internal Audit department team at Banque Cantonale de Genève (BCGE), an Authentic, Courageous and Fair bank.

As Credit Audit Domain Manager, you will lead audit assignments in various business units within the BCGE Group, particularly in the areas of commercial loans, real estate loans, and commodity trade finance.

Your responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct and document audit assignments according to the defined methodology.
  • Identify and analyse risks, assess the internal control system implemented by the bank to mitigate them.
  • Write relevant, clear and concise audit reports with recommendations that add value.
  • Present reports and findings clearly and succinctly to the managers of the audited areas, to General Management and to the Audit Committee.
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual audit plan and risk analysis for your area of responsibility.
  • Supervise staff assigned to your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure follow-up on audit recommendations issued.

Your profile

  • Higher professional and/or academic education (Master in Economic Sciences, CIA, chartered accountant diploma, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in credit risk audit or in a related analysis or control function (credit analyst, corporate client credit officer).
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate lending (knowledge of commodity trade finance and/or syndicated loans is an asset), as well as the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
  • Experience in leading and autonomy in carrying out audit assignments.
  • Analytical and synthetic thinking in complex and constantly evolving situations.
  • Rigour, persuasiveness and interpersonal ease.
  • Team spirit with the ability to share information within the audit department.
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in French, as well as proficiency in a second language (another national language or English).
