The Fondation de Nant organises all public psychiatric care in the eastern Vaud region. It fulfils a public health mission on behalf of the State of Vaud. Its care services are open to all, children, adolescents, adults and elderly people living in the districts of Aigle, Lavaux-Oron and Riviera-Pays-d’Enhaut. They are provided by Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Educators and other mental health professionals. The Fondation de Nant is a member of the Federation of Vaud Hospitals (FHV), the umbrella organisation of recognised regional Vaud hospitals of public interest. It is also part of the Haut-Léman Health Network which brings together health partners from the Riviera and Pays-d’Enhaut with those from the Vaud and Valais Chablais. Attached to psychoanalysis through its history, the Fondation de Nant currently identifies with its contemporary developments. The resulting clinical vision is expressed through its practices, training and openness to other approaches.
